All Burma Federation of Students' Unions: Upper Burma Students Union - Yadanarbon University Students Union (Chairman)
In 2012, she joined the All Burma Federation of Students' Unions, and actively participated in claiming of changes in Burmese Education System and leading the condemnation movement of the Letpadaungtaung Copper Project. She also led the movements to cease the civil war in Burma.
In 2013, she became the chairman of the Yadanabon University Students' Union which made her the first female student union president in the history of the student political movement.
In 2015, she participated in the Democracy Education Movement to reform the education system, and was detained at Thayawaddy Prison.
She was released in 2016 and chaired the 2016 Student General Assembly. After leaving the student union, she became the secretary of an organization named Youth for a New Society (YNS) and worked on youth affairs. She then became a member of Democratic Party for a New Society (DPNS).
In 2018, she became chairman of Youth for a New Society and a member of the Central Committee of the party DPNS. In 2019, she served as an election commissioner at the pre-convention of the Democratic Party for a New Society.
From 2018 to February 2021, she served as the Chairman of the Youth Committee of Democratic Party for a New Society and a member of the Central Committee of the Party. She has worked as a trainer in awareness of youth affairs, social welfare, peace sector and federal education as well as a human right activist for Equality for ethnic nationalities, civil peace movement of the Kachin War and youth affairs.
She then participated in the 2020 election from the Pyithu Hluttaw seat in Pabedan Township. However, she lost the election. In the Burmese Spring Revolution 2021, she joined the Anti Junta Mass Movement(AJMM) , which took place after the military coup and led the very first general mass protest in Yangon. Later, when the National Unity Government was formed, she was appointed Deputy Minister in the Ministry of Women, Youth and Children Affairs.
The purpose and the functions of the Support Services Directorate are to provide support to the Women, Youths and Children Affairs Ministry’s Programs implementation and to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of day to day operations of the Ministry.
The purpose and the functions of the Policy, Planning, Legal and Research Development Directorate are to support the development of laws, rules and procedures, policies, planning, to conduct research in support of policies and programs as well as manage data and information of the Ministry.
The purpose and functions of the Women and Gender Affairs Directorate are to set the goal and objectives of the program to promote and protect the rights of Women in Myanmar and to ensure the delivery of the program and overall success of it.
The purpose and functions of the Youth Affairs Directorate are to set the goal and objectives of the program to protect youths and develop the youths sector in Myanmar and to ensure the delivery of the program and overall success of it.
