Goal

Ensure the fulfillment of the rights of women, youth and children through strengthening policies, programmes and research.

Objectives

Develop the right-based policies and programmes for women, youth and children;
Ensure the implementation of the right-based laws, rules and procedures, and processes upholding justice;
Facilitate systematic information management and research to support right-based federal democracy.

Support Services

The purpose and the functions of the Support Services Directorate are to provide support to the Women, Youths and Children Affairs Ministry’s Programs implementation and to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of day to day operations of the Ministry.

Policy, Planning, Legal and Research

The purpose and the functions of the Policy, Planning, Legal and Research Development Directorate are to support the development of laws, rules and procedures, policies, planning, to conduct research in support of policies and programs as well as manage data and information of the Ministry.

Women and Gender Affairs

The purpose and functions of the Women and Gender Affairs Directorate are to set the goal and objectives of the program to promote and protect the rights of Women in Myanmar and to ensure the delivery of the program and overall success of it.

Youth Affairs

The purpose and functions of the Youth Affairs Directorate are to set the goal and objectives of the program to protect youths and develop the youths sector in Myanmar and to ensure the delivery of the program and overall success of it.

Children Rights and Affairs

The purpose and functions of the Children Right and Affairs Directorate are to set the goal and objectives of the program to promote the rights of children in Myanmar and ensure the protection of them as well as the delivery of the program and overall success of it.
